Shauna & Dan’s Snowy Session! | Brighton MI couples photographer
Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010Shauna works at Nicholas’ preschool, and also sits for several of my friends’ children. She’s the boys’ favorite (besides Mrs. Karen, of course!) I promised Shauna that I’d do some pics for her and she had mentioned she loves the snow…so when we got our first real blizzard…we went on our adventure!
Kudos to Dan and Shauna for making it through the cold for these cute shots!

Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010Heather and I both attended Michigan State and are mutual friends with Dave & Moira (the bride and groom of the wedding I photographed in October) She was at the wedding just WEEKS before her due date and when I mentioned I had a need for a newborn model, she came by!
I have to give Heather a HUGE thank you – we had VERY unusual circumstances the day of Gideon’s shoot – so many thanks, Heather, for your patience!

Thursday, December 9th, 2010Vince is my paternal uncle – the youngest of 7 surviving children, and only a few years older than my oldest sibling. Sue wanted to get a few head shots done for their business (Garden Angel Art Works www.gardenangelart.com) and so they stopped over last weekend. I INSISTED that they sit for a portrait together since I haven’t seen an ‘official’ one of them in a long time.

This week at iheartfaces, it’s about self-portraits. I don’t really have that many pictures of myself to choose from, but I do really like this picture that I took of myself, in the car, on the way up to the MSU 2010 Homecoming Game, in October.
Things I like about it?
- I’m wearing one of my favorite hats.
- It’s actually in focus, even though I took this while Nick was driving
- I love the catchlights in my eyes from the windows.
- This is me. This is who you’ll meet if you have me do your photos. I’m down to earth, and usually wearing some sort of MSU attire. Sorry about that, Michigan fans!

Sunday, December 5th, 2010I met J & B when I participated in Scott Kelby’s Ann Arbor Photo Walk this summer. B is a UM Alum (and my new dentist) so he was a fab person to lead the walk…he knew all the hidden gems of campus. During the walk, I mentioned that I did portrait photography, and learned that J was expecting their first baby!
They were so much fun to work with and I can’t wait to meet their little one! Here are some of my favorites from their session! The booties that she’s holding are actually B’s from when he was a baby!

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010Deneen contacted me and asked if I photograph pets in family photos – and my answer was, of course!!! Their Yorkies were some of the cutest little dogs I’ve ever seen! Carmen was a bit shy at first, but she warmed up to me! Maddie, the littler, younger one was just a ham who loved giving me lots of kisses!
