Remember the gorgeous Lana and her beautiful baby bump? Lana’s Maternity Session Well, about a week after her session she went into labor and delivered Cooper a few weeks early! He’s little and sweet! Slept almost the whole time, and holds my records for the most times I’ve gotten peed on!

Do you remember Ava’s beautiful mom, Jessica? If not, here she is: Jessica’s Maternity Session Both Jessica and I were convinced that baby Pip was going to be a boy…and guess what? She’s a beautiful baby girl, of course!

Alexis is one of the most photogenic people I have worked with, so when I heard she was also expecting baby #3 (this time she’s been blessed with a girl) I persuaded her into being a model for me!

Baby CJ finally made his long-awaited debut a WEEK after his due date! He’s got a bit of momma, a bit of daddy, and a lot of spunk! Here are the favorites from his newborn session. Look how tiny he is in dad’s hands!
Who doesn’t love baby toes?
I don’t normally show the same image in color AND black & white, but I like both of these equally. Daddy was a member of the 1997 Championship Football Team at the University of Michigan. Look how big his ring is in CJ’s hand! After this shot, CJ didn’t want to let go!

My friend Mona (met her at Nicholas’ preschool and it turns out our kiddos are VERY close in age AND we were both expecting, though she was due before me) and her family came over for a different type of session – playdate for our older kiddos, and a newborn session with Eli!
What a sweet, sweet baby he was. And of course he peed and pooped on me! Wouldn’t be a successful session without that!

Rahel & Matthew were married at the MSU gardens, so they asked if we could hold their session on-location. It’s one of my favorite places to shoot, though I don’t do it often.
Their daughter, Miah, was just a pleasure to work with. She was a bit quiet at first, but quickly became her normal, chatty self!

I had SO much fun with Melani, Marcus and Myles. What a handsome little man they have! He was a bit shy at first, but by the end of the session we were playing and flirting!

Lana and her husband are THRILLED to expecting the first boy grand baby! Everyone was a bit surprised when they learned it was a boy! Lana is such a beautiful pregnant mama. She definitely has the pregnancy glow and can you believe she was only 5 weeks from her due date at our session?
