Beautiful Baby Miyah | Detroit MI baby photographer

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

Miyah is one very lucky girl!  Her aunt, Toye, brought her out to my house for a photo session, and I can see from the plentitude of outfit changes that she’s going to be a very spoiled little girl.

I fell in LOVE with her hair (who wouldn’t) and her beautiful big eyes!  For fun, I took a pic of her cousin, Christopher, who tagged along for the shoot.

Here is my FAVORITE image of the shoot:

Who could resist these cheeks and that smile?

Rhonda’s Family Sneak Peek! | Ann Arbor MI Family Photographer

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

Rhonda and I went to high school together and I have a picture of us at our 9th grade formal…but I’m not going to share that here!  I was honored that Rhonda asked me to do their family pictures, and so privileged to meet her husband of 11 years, Craig, and their three children, Olivia, and twins Brandon & Cameron.

Here are some of my favorites from one of the easiest family sessions I’ve had!

What sweet siblings! | Ann Arbor MI children’s photographer

Saturday, May 22nd, 2010

I was honored when my former co-worker and friend Faye contacted me to do pictures of her sweet children.  Leela and Frank were two of the most laid-back, easy to photograph kids I’ve had the privilege of working with so far.  And the best part?  Nicholas and Frank are just 3 weeks apart, so perhaps we’ll have some more playdates – so Faye and I can continue to catch up!

Here are some of my favorites from their session:

And a storyboard I did:

Mary & her siblings! | Brighton MI Children’s photographer

Friday, May 21st, 2010

Remember Mary?  I first photographed her just before her Christening in a gown that was generations old.  If you do remember, then you’ll recognize these GORGEOUS eyes.  This time, I was privileged to have a session with not only Mary, but with her older brother and two sisters.

More from Dave & Moira’s shoot…they’re SO photogenic.  I had SO many shots to choose from and these are some of my favorites!

And a couple of storyboards I did:

D & M are betrothed! | Lansing MI Engagement Photographer

Monday, May 17th, 2010

Just one for now…of my very good friend Dave & his lovely fiance, Moira.  I knew when I took this that it would be one of my favorites!  More to come tomorrow!

Lucky Mike | Brighton MI Portrait Photographer

Friday, May 14th, 2010

Mike was referred to me by Bonnie at Four Seasons Florist…we both agreed that getting a hold of Bonnie’s rolodex would be a salesperson’s dream!  She knows EVERYONE!  Mike needed a couple of headshots done for his latest project…and while snapping away, I learned he and his wife also met at MSU.  Go State!

Lucky 13 ~ days old! | Grand Blanc MI newborn photographer

Saturday, May 8th, 2010

Little Acacia is just thirteen days old today…and what a little beauty.  I LOVE her hair.  It reminded me so much of Nicholas’ hair, just a different color.  And look at her highlights…women are envious already!
