Meet my Fresh Faces 2010 Newborn winner! Justin was still just a bun in the oven when I held the contest and you probably remember his beautiful momma from this post: Michelle’s Maternity Session
Justin was a whopping 9lbs+ when he was born, surprising his parents (and the doctors) who had estimated him to be around 7lbs just the week prior. What a sweet, sweet baby he was…all he wanted to do was eat and sleep!
Michelle…I saved the ’squirt’ picture for this post – I hope you love it as much as I do!

So many people ask me “I love the shots you get of kids – do you also do pets?” Of course I do! Long before we had any children, I had my furbabies and they’re STILL spoiled rotten!
This is my favorite shot of our little troublemaker, Gracie Lou (she’s named after the main character in the movie “Miss Congeniality”) I just happened to click the shutter right when she licked her nose and I LOVE it!
In case you’re wondering, she’s a Cockapoo (Cocker Spaniel & Poodle) and she weighs around 15lbs or so. She’s the kids’ favorite, b/c she LOVES to play fetch, and clean up whatever they’re willing to drop over the sides of their chairs during dinner.

When Nick told me that our friend, Kevin & his wife were expecting a baby girl, I was thrilled! Baby girls are SO much fun! Cindy is GORGEOUS and here are some of my favorites from her session. She had the most amazing eyes! Here she is with her beautiful parents!

Susan and I met online, through a special group for angel moms. She lost her son, Thomas, to a congenital heart defect, and now has been blessed with twin daughters, Audris & Brooksley.
To say I was honored when she contacted me to do their family pictures was an understatement; you see, she’s from Missouri and was in town visiting family. So what a privilege I had – not only did I get to meet someone that I had previously only known online, but I got to hold and photograph her precious girls too.

When I heard about this week’s theme at I Heart Faces (http://iheartfaces.blogspot.com/), I knew just which picture I was going to use. Remember gorgeous baby Koray? His Mommy & Daddy are Turkish, so this pic has special meaning. The plate is a symbol to ward off the ‘evil eye’.

I peeked out my window tonight and saw bits of orange and pink through the trees. I just knew I had to jump in the car and get a shot of the sunset before I missed it…luckily, I have a VERY understanding husband!
Shots like this make me think about heaven…and all its splendor.

Jennifer contacted me last night via facebook (Thank You!) and asked if I could ’squeeze in a session’ with her twin daughters…what do you think I said? Of COURSE I could! LOL
Sabrina & Samantha are just BEAUTIFUL. Their skin is so soft and creamy…I had a lot of fun with them this evening and it was nice to spend more time with you, Jennifer, and to meet Chris.

I love this collage b/c it shows off their personality (each one had to fuss for a bit) and their dresses made by Jennifer’s Aunt.
