A few things you should know about me...I am a mom to twin daughters in heaven, three handsome sons on earth and have an amazing husband. I first met Nicole and Matt when I worked in staffing. I met Nicole first and then she introduced me to her then fiance, Matt. He was actually the first person that I placed into the engineering side of my staffing business.
We’ve kept in touch over the years and she won a free session from a giveaway that I did on facebook. I INSISTED that they choose a day that we could include their furkid, Bruno.
Not only was Bruno well-behaved, but he sure put my two girls (cockapoos) in their place! He was SUCH a sweetheart – we just had to keep a lookout for that whiplike tail!
Here are some of my favorites from their session! Matt is a black belt in Karate, so we had him bring his ‘weapons’ and he was such a good sport!
Deneen contacted me and asked if I photograph pets in family photos – and my answer was, of course!!! Their Yorkies were some of the cutest little dogs I’ve ever seen! Carmen was a bit shy at first, but she warmed up to me! Maddie, the littler, younger one was just a ham who loved giving me lots of kisses!
Here are my favorites from their session!
You may recognize someone in these pics…it’s the gorgeous Lorissa, whom you can also see HERE…she came back with her family this time! It was so much fun to work with Bobbi…she and I used to work together and I miss her great smile and GORGEOUS blue eyes!
The guys of course, came along for the ride…I can’t believe that Mick is an ADULT now…the last time I saw him was several years ago, and her hubby Mike is one in TEN million…because one of his eyes is blue and one is hazel! How cool is that?
And of course, no family session would be complete without including the furry member of the family! Aayla was a sweetheart and I had so much fun getting puppy kisses!
Here are some of my faves:
So many people ask me “I love the shots you get of kids – do you also do pets?” Of course I do! Long before we had any children, I had my furbabies and they’re STILL spoiled rotten!
This is my favorite shot of our little troublemaker, Gracie Lou (she’s named after the main character in the movie “Miss Congeniality”) I just happened to click the shutter right when she licked her nose and I LOVE it!
In case you’re wondering, she’s a Cockapoo (Cocker Spaniel & Poodle) and she weighs around 15lbs or so. She’s the kids’ favorite, b/c she LOVES to play fetch, and clean up whatever they’re willing to drop over the sides of their chairs during dinner.

I was excited to do some shots of Christopher in the studio today, because I got a new GIANT softbox! So after I got things straightened up, I took him downstairs and thankfully, he was ready for his modeling job today!
For those of you that are wondering…YES! He is ALWAYS this smiley! I love it!

And just for fun, one of Gracie!

I thought they deserved some face time, given that Gracie just turned 4 years old last Friday!
Chloe Marie first, then Gracie Lou…and yes, they ARE related but they are not *really* sisters, we just call them that! They’re really cousins.
Chloe has the MOST expressive eyes of ANY dog I’ve known. And Gracie…well, she’s our little spitfire!
